Coalition programs provide services from before birth and through the earliest stages of a child’s life.

 

Healthy Start and Healthy Families programs provide home visitors that provide personal positive support and education services for parents of young children beginning prior to birth.

 

The Coalition administers MomCare, a Medicaid Choice Counseling program that ensures women choose a healthcare provider and are compliant with prenatal appointments.

 

In 1997 Coalition members developed the TLC Newborn program for families of all newborns, even those without risk.

 

Because the Coalition is the lead agency for all four programs, we are in a unique position to implement efficiencies, eliminate duplication and facilitate movement of families between programs as their needs are identified.

 

Working with community partners, the Coalition makes sure services that support healthy pregnancies and healthy children are accessible for ALL pregnant women and children up to age five.
