VERO BEACH — Attendees of this season’s Dancing with Vero’s Stars will experience new and exciting features that will act as avenues to vote for their favorite star dancers throughout the evening. Dancing with Vero’s Stars, benefiting the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition, will take place March 10 at The Waxlax Center at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, located at Saint Edward’s Upper School, 1895 Saint Edward’s Drive, South A1A.
Keeping in mind that each dollar donated to the Healthy Start Coalition will enable the donor to cast a vote, two new promotions have been created: Diamonds are Forever and Buy A Rose for Your Star Dancer.
Sold during the pre-show cocktail hour and during the show’s intermission, attendees can purchase a glass of champagne for $20 and receive a chance to win a beautiful “Dancing Diamond” necklace with a retail value of $2,400 courtesy of diamond connoisseur and in-kind sponsor John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry, Beachland Boulevard in Vero Beach.
Sponsor of the Diamond are Forever fundraiser is Perfection Paint and Body located on 4th Place S.W. in Vero Beach. The drawing for one very lucky winner will be held on the stage following intermission.
Keeping in mind that each dollar donated to the Healthy Start Coalition will enable the donor to cast a vote, two new promotions have been created; Diamonds are Forever and Rose Bouquet.
The second new fundraiser is “Buy a Rose for Your Star Dancer.” Long-stemmed roses, provided by a local florist will be sold for $5 a stem. For five votes designated to your favorite star dancer, the roses sold will be bunched into a bouquet to hand out to the star dancer following the completion of the evening.
These features and many other exciting elements will make up what is being looked at the best “Dancing” event since its inception in 2009. Looking to attend? General seating is available at $100 a seat.
