Emcee and New Red Carpet Host To Lead Charge

Posted on · Posted in IRC Healthy Start Coalition, News & Press

The committee, for Dancing with Vero’s Stars, claims to offer some of the best entertainment of the season at the popular annual event and part of that is thanks to the emcees who lend their trade and talent to making that happen.

Everyone in Indian River County knows Hamp Elliott,  the  show’s emcee for Dancing with Vero’s Stars for all eight years….or from listening to his daily show mornings from 6-10am on the very  popular  97.1-OCEAN FM.  Not only does Hamp get around Indian River County as well as points north and south hosting local events, he makes friends everywhere he goes! He is always on point, spontaneous, and enjoyable! Hamp has been a radio veteran for over 40 years on the Treasure Coast and he is committed to numerous community activities…while his star power is only exceeded by his lovely wife Valerie!

The Red Carpet to the entrance of Riverside Theatre is the spot where all the excitement begins. One-by-one, the dancers and their instructors are chauffeured to the red carpet where this year’s new emcee will welcome them to the screaming crowds. Vero Beach’s own Tiffany Corr joins Dancing with Vero’s Stars with an “all-star” resume in broadcasting. For eight years she worked for NBC Sports as a sports reporter based out of New York City. Ms. Corr covered the Beijing Olympics, multiple Super Bowls, Notre Dame College football, MLB and NBA All-Star games, Nascar Awards Red Carpet, AMA Motocross, ski and snowboard competitions and the Westminster Dog Show. She co-hosted weekly Fantasy Football shows, Hardball Talk and Buzzer Beater and many more network sports shows. Tiffany also covered the New York Mets as the host of Mets Weekly and served as a fill-in reporter during games.

This year’s female dancers and their instructors are: Lisa Thompson Barnes with Joe Tessier, Georgia Irish with Joe Wynes, Alla Kramer with Craig Galvin, Megan Raasveldt with Sergio Cisneros and Dr. Roberta “Robbi” Rose with George Go.  The male dancers are: Colt Crosby with Karren Walter, Zeke Motta with Kaylan Keathley, Isaac Perez with Yvonne M. Miller, Robert “Bob” Rose with Marianella Tobar and Milo Thornton with Shari Tessier.
